Kieffer stirrup bar snapped

Hi everyone, just got my kieffer aachen gp yesterday and before I even put in a stirrup leather, when I flipped up the safety catch the stirrup bar snapped....my saddlery shop is horrified and am waiting to hear from them about a replacement. In the meantime, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this especially in a brand new saddle.....thanks!

Not a brand new saddle, but I know someone with a Jeffries jump saddle about 3 years old, where the entire stirrup bar came off the tree. Twice.

Not good! Hope you get yours fixed quickly.
