Kissing Spine

Hi, My 3 year old has just been diagnosed with Kissing Spine. We are awaiting a bone scan before making any decisions but was just wondering if anyone has got experience of this in such a young horse? Also, what is the process post operation box rest, rehabilition etc.? In fact if anyone has any information, experience or advice it would be appreciated
