I booked to go on a pleasure ride tomorrow ages ago. Not got anything ready yet....but horse is as fit as a flea and raring to go!
Problem is....me.
This past year, maybe to do with horse going off lame in the early summer, and missing the last chance I had to qualify for the Trec Champs, I've sort of 'gone off the boil' even though I've been riding loads and loads since she came sound once more.
I'm only due to lose a tenner if I don't go, and it's a 2 hour drive, not that that bothers me, have driven my little mare all over the place previously!
Now, I'm going to a family party tomorrow night, not drinking though as I'm not a drinker so driving there and back, and Sunday will see me checking out (not riding) a new place that is starting with shows and it's right on the doorstep...and then getting ready to go back to work after an lovely half-term!
So, do I go, get tired and go back to work thinking I need another week off.....! OR....do I stay at home, go for a pootle round the BP and not rush getting the field jobs done?
Am I just being a lazy c*w who needs a
to get me arse into gear?
~sigh~
Not into shows or anything these days, am happy just hacking about, and now....I get the chance to go on a nice ride, and my lazy side is taking control!!!!
<<<< Needs to get a bit of this done I think to re-awaken the motivation!
