I've always just stuffed my hair in a hairnet and tied a mini bun type thing out of it at the bottom with an elastic hair band, but now my hair is alot longer and little bun has turned into long net covered pony tail (not very attractive) and also, I am sick of the very unnatractive hairnet imprint I always seem to get accross my forehead!

Was wondering what everyone else does?

I'm thinking a bun net? But how do you secure it? Are bun rings better (will be wearing beaglers and hopefully top hat), if so, how the heck do you do those?

Thanks

I put my hair into a low ponytail with an elastic band and twist round into a sort of knot bun and then put a scrunchie round it. I've found the bun ring things quite uncomfortable with my beagler as it has to site quite low, but it does look neat.

my hair is quite long and a nightmare. I find it easier if I put it in a low ponytail, twist into a bun and put a band over it. then put on hairnet and put another band over bun - stops any stragally (sp!) hairs as well. I do this withmy beagler which is quite low and it sits fine.

I do the same, the double band seems to keep everything in very well.

Snap. Think you need a full hairnet really. Keeps the ear/side bits in too. Vital with a top hat!

I put mine in a low ponytail then hairnet over the top to keep the bits in - after seeing some pics of me last year without a hairnet I was appalled at how scruffy I looked LOL

I have longish, very thick, got a mind of it's own, hair.
I plait it, band it, turn it up, band it. (much like with manes!)
Then I put hairnet on, push it back onto my hair line so it doesn't mark my forehead, put my hat on and then gather together the net and plaited bunch and put a scrunchie around it that matches my stock!
Very neat and tidy!

Buy finer hair nets - Boots & Superdrug sell them,79p for three I think.

I put my hair in a low pony tail, then twist it around the base. Band, then a hairnet over my whole head (keeps the wispy bits in) and with any slack in the net, twist that back over the bun. Then pop a couple of bun nets over the top.

I plait it, fold the plait over and then over again, secure it with a plaiting band, put a hairnet on and then put another plaiting band round, it ends up very neat and tidy. I don't get an imprint on my forehead because I push the hairnet back to my hairline.

For long hair + beagler I put it into a low loose bun and hten put a fine hairnet over and hten put a band over the net to keep it in a neat bun shape.

For top hat i do the same but makesure its a rounder bunshape, dont think people really use bun rings anymore just v fine hairnets.

I have very long hair and I do the same as lots above, ie low ponytail then twist into a sort of bun and secure with scrunchie. I use a (thin) full hairnet but like Ifield I push it back a bit so it's not right on my forehead. I don't have any trouble with marks.
