We were lucky to share him with you as you turned him into that fit little dog who could gallop on the beach. So sorry you didn't get longer to love him AM.
.
So sorry Amymay, bone cancer is awful, it deteriorates so quickly, we lost a cat in the spring in similar circumstances. Quick for us to come to terms with but also no prolonged pain for the animal. xx
I'm sorry for your loss Amymay, but you were a good and loving owner to the end, including in the making of your final decision. It sounds as though although the time Jack was with you was relatively short, but that what it lacked in time was more than made up for in quality.
I would just like to add, for anyone who is in our/that particular area, Mill Referrals in Aberystwyth we’re just fantastic. Professional and caring. Taking the time to discuss everything with us. Obviously treatment options, but also respecting our decision to pts without pressuring us to consider amputation etc.
I'm so sorry. Goodbye Jack, who sounded a little smasher, and how very lucky he was to have you. I'm glad the referral centre gave you the support you needed.
So sorry to hear this very sad news @Amymay . It is heartbreaking to lose a much loved friend. He was such a lucky dog though to have you and his amazing life whilst he could. Why oh why do dogs have such short lives? Hugs.
I was just sitting watching my little collie snoozing away on the rug next to me when I read this post and it has made me so sad. Things like this remind me to never wish away any of my time with him, no matter how challenging me makes my life, we are so lucky to have them in our lives. I hope you and Daisy are okay.
