He was my north my south my east my west he is gone.Lancelot died today doing what he loved, out with the RMAS Draghounds. There is not much more I can say.
He was only seven, its so unfair. He was so generous ,so brave. The people from the RMAS Draghounds were wonderfull. They rallied round like you cannot believe .My special thanks goes to Mark the Huntsman for his humanity in dealing with the awfull facts of life.
Quite randomly - I think I saw a little clip of him on GucciB's post the other day, and he looked really rather awesome. Cherish the lovely memories you have of him, I still run some 'virtual video' of B through my head occasionally and it still makes me feel sad (but also glad to have known him if that makes sense).
Omg Mike I can't believe I'm reading this! I'm so so sorry for your loss. You and Lance really looked after me out hunting and I can't thank you enough. RIP Lance x
Mike, words still fail me, as I said to you earlier, take some comfort that he died doing what he loves, make sure you get a copy of GucciB's vid, that is how I shall always remember him x
May he gallop in heaven and hopefully meet up with Treasure and share hunt stories RIP Lance x
So sorry for you
like others have said at least he went at a point in his life where he enjoyed ever minute - may he jump many more hedges and dykes in heaven x x

we shall all miss him too. such a familiar sight to see good old Lance coming round the corner. He always gave everything a go and I'm sure there are heaps of people who are greatful for you guys showing them the way. There'll be a big hole in the hunt without him.
Mike, I'm really not sure what to say- I'm so so sorry for your loss- I really can't believe it. I know it is of little comfort now, but as Clare says at least he went doing something he truely loved and was wonderfully talented at. His enormous character will be missed on the yard. Thinking of you. If there is anything I can do please just shout. RIP Lance. Becca & Bailey xx
