Laser treatment for splints??

Has anyone heard of/had laser treatment for splints??

A friend just asked this as her friend has been told her showing horse can have laser treatment that reduces and sometimes gets rid of splints! I have no knowledge/experience of this and neither does my friend, so we are curious to see if anyone else has. If you have had this done what were the results??

yeah, we used to laser the racehorses legs if there were any splints coming up. We believe it worked to make them smaller/stop them getting bigger but obviously never had 2 identical ones to compare one with and one without.
Lasers are great, we used them on ourslves when we were hurt too!

ooh thats fab thank you she has been getting marked down at shows for them but hadnt heard of it either so she will be over the moon with this
