Am posting here im sure more people will see, and she was a comp horse last year!!
Am now riding Spider have been for over a week and she has been great, now she is out ive had no explosions just getting on with, maybe the odd buck but thats about it.
Anyway she has always been quite lazy and having to be on a decent amount of mix when she is fit and competing, she has also always been a bit funny in the mouth but this is probably from the hidden wolf teeth (that have now been removed) thing is at the mo she is super super quiet, very lazy and just mooches about the field eating, never runs about or anything. She isnt ill she is eating well etc. She is on a sccop of hi-fi and a scoop of alfa-a twice a day at the mo, will start having some mix end of next week.
Just asking for some advice really, do horses sometimes gets depressed after box rest? Even when they are now out? Or do you think everything has just over whelmed her and she is lazy as she is now cantering etc and is tired?
Also do you think some blood salts would help?
Any thought/views/advice appreciated, just want to make sure she is happy!!
