LeMeuix Sizing

First time buying saddle pads for my new horse- LeMieux says a large should fit up to 17hh, would it fit my 17.2hh?
Also does anyone have an idea as to what Shire Equestrian size would fit?

Saddle pads are usually sized for the saddle more so than the horse.
I use full size on my horses and i would say they comfortably fit up to an 18" saddle.

I use large le Mieux pads under my 18 inch saddle and they fit perfectly

It depends on the width of your horse too. I use large LeMieux dressage pads on my 15hh chunky Welsh as the Shires ones are just a tad too short under the saddle flaps.
