He/she is a Highland so dun, the silver is just frosting which you get sometimes with dun

Sorry he's the cutest 7hh black in winter and summer - goes through almost white in spring and autumn when changing coats (other than his mane and legs which stay black!)
He changes so much that the first year my friends where on the yard they called me and said a strange mini had been dumped - they wouldn't believe it was the same only.

Colour is pretty easy, but breeding?
No real idea of the breed except he looks to have a native head. But, regardless, he is stunning!

Well - this has gone in a different direction than anticipated!
LBM was correct - she's Criollo, imported from Argentina years ago, and a former polo pony. Still no idea what colour she is!

She's lovely! I couldn't see any native in there, but love her build. I am not a colour person so no idea there - hope you get some suggestions. x
