Light hearted post- your horse’s favourite thing?

So apart from, eating, sleeping, pooing, farting, bucking, rearing etc. What do you think your horse’s favourite thing is?

Bodey- It has to be hunting or jumping (saying that is that me or him?).

Badger- Being a lead rein pony, going as slow as possible. Especially if the person leading has treats in their pocket.

Charlie LOVES having his bottom scratched, he positions himself perfectly and then leans into your hand to make you scratch harder

Millie just loves attention and being worked in general, when she was riderless she was a little Cow! Now she's really happy most of the time

being turned out, the bleeding nutter loves it (out everyday, all day if weather permits). Always gallops off bucking, farting, rearing, and bouncing all 4's off the floor as soon as he is in the field, sometimes before i get the leadrope off though

Hes a nutter trust me the YO and head boy couldnt hold him in a chiffney and lungline (i banned them from using that after he galloped around the field with a lungline attatched to the chiffney - very dangerous). Yet outside the field he is like a dobbin..... they dont like doing what i do though and unclip him outside the gate?!?! Dont know why it works at the end of the day... Nutty horse!!

Harvey lurrrvvveess cross country, i swear if i pointed him in the right direction he would just jump the whole thing on his own!

Tizzy- just being ridden in general i think, she is in full time work for the first time in her life and seems to be loving it.. exciting.

They all love scratching their bums on the BRIGHT RED salt lick which can lead to horrified moments when im half asleep and doing morning feeds, you would think i would learn that they havent sliced themselves open!
 
Dubh likes to steal my many weird hats. I think my headwear embarasses him!

He also bites your ankles when he wants to play, worrying as he's 16.3!
 
Fany loves Elizabeth, my daughter, shouting loudly whenever Elizabeth so much as leaves the barn to get water!

Captain loves kendal mint cake, especially chocolate covered and being pampered.
 
Missy absolutely loves you rubbing the inside of the side of her lips and rubbing the corners of her mouth

She also loves her back side and the inside of her dock being scratched .

She loves to be turned out ....... As soon as you lift her headcollar she nickers at you as if to say .... " yay we are going out " !

Being out with other horses and going like a nut on a ride , she likes nothing better than a fast gallop especialy if she is heading for home x
 
Those stripey strawberry sweets, i've forgotten what they are called but I know what they look like. When I bought him his ex-owner gave me a packet of them and said 'he really likes these sweets'.
 
Tia loves being scratched and grooming me back. Usually her withers, neck and back. Also underneath her dock.

She loves being turned out too and given treats which I dont spoil her with often as it makes her kick the door for attention.
 
Going for days out. D practically drags me up the ramp of the lorry and gets really excited about where she might be going. She doesn't seem to mind where as long as its not dressage, she just likes getting out and seeing the world, all the better if she gets to jump while she's out.
