LIHS on BBC tonight

I used to have a bet with myself as to how long before Andy Austin said a horse was by Cornet Oblonsky as one year every other horse was (or it seemed like it). I think there is a balance. The Tour de France coverage on ITV is brilliantly balanced.

Think one of the horses backed off the flags so the timing didn't work and they collided.

The lead guy looked really scary, wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him, he looked very young as well.

I wonder if they've received any complaints about the term for part of the group, no doubt people will have managed to complain about it!

Hope horse and rider were ok. Think at the final part they only had three riders carrying flags, not four as normal

Yeah ultimately we need it on red button with the choice of joe bloggs/expert commentary!

I mean that would be the absolute dream.

I think there is a balance, and probably the BBC2 coverage could have had a bit more fluff with the red button remaining serious on the basis that you have to be pretty keen to seek out coverage on red button.

The suggestion of breeding details on the screen would be good too.

We had a run of interest/first lesson bookings in the same afternoon and for a few days after the dressage at Tokyo.
That is brilliant!

Don't get me wrong I am not dismissing the impact of being involved in the olympics but I think having olympia on TV (every year) is possibly even more important with the variety and fun etc.

It is brilliant. Until they realise how hard it is to be CDJ... So I complelely agree that's where Olympia/HOYS/Windsor can be a bit more 'attainable'.
