......as opposed to Otis Ferry, Jeremy Clarkson, the fat cook woman ect.

At least Gervais has talent, the moronic, charmless bunch of cretins that are pro-hunt and in the public eye are enuff to make anyone anti! : :smirk:

:sigh: Thank God for Celebrity Culture.

"My jumped up [####] is cleverer than yours!"

I thought Gervais was taking the piss. Doesn't he ride out with the Beaufort?

Some of the anti's who wrote an open letter to Blair in support of the ban included Paul Mc -i'll do anything to look good- Cartney, Dermot O'Leary, Mel C, Louise Redknapp, Richard Wilson (?) and Jo Brand..... fat woman pro, did you say? lol.

I think that if you are going to have a quotation in your signature that is meant to be taken seriously, then maybe it should come from a source with more gravitas than Ricky Gervais. Otherwise, it makes all your arguments look as if they are meant to be taken with a pinch of salt. Which maybe they are...

Who said my siggy was supposed to be taken seriously?

RG is a comedian for pete's sake. I'm hardly gonna use a quote from a comedian to make a politial point am I? The siggy makes lots of people laugh.

Debate has sweet FA to do with someone's sig, pretentious twats who have really deep, philiosphical sig's take themselves too seriously in my opinion.

Thats what my ex used to tell me, hehe (too much details methinks).

No seriously he has more talent than Otis Ferry who should of been drowned at birth. I think he's well funny. Bill Bailey is an anti too, innit, and he's a hoot.

Not as funny as the comedy genius that is Noel Fielding though. And I have no idea what his thoughts on hunting are.

Gervais is a better comediene than otis ferry but then again Otis Ferry isn't a comediene so that's not surprising.

Mind you his dad is much better at singing than me. I'd have to admit that.

Well I was refering to talent really i.e the Ferry lad has none.

Has you read Is It Just Me Or Is Everything Sh*t? Great book, hilarious bit on Otis Ferry. Recommended read, first volume only, second one is a bit rubbish.

Well I think everyone has hidden talents and to be honest I'm not really much of a fan of celebrity culture so I couldn't really care less about Otis Ferry. Maybe he's good in the sack. He's probably got a massive wanger. I've heard gervais is a little shortchanged in that department, and Bill Bailey is meant to be inverted.

YOU brought up knob size Giles, lol!

Now I have a horrendous image of Bill Bailey in the buff with that surprised look on his face that he always does. Sick.

I did as it is as relevant to the argument on fox hunting as comparing Ricky Gervais and Otis Ferry's talent.

If things were that simple it would just be a question of undoing one's fly's slapping one's appendages on the table and getting out the tape measure. Argument solved.

Unfortunately life is more complex.

Ahhh well... correct you there I must. Having seen Mr Ferry at work week in week out over the last couple of seasons, I must disagree...as a hunt master he is indeed fairly talented.
His extra curricular activities may leave a little to be desired ...but hey thats his choice!!

well an anti probably wouldn't be so generous as to call hunting a talent but I'll let you have that one.

He's still a tw*t though

Thats a very philiosophical subject you're bringing up there.

Is life more complicated or does it all basically come down to trouser snake length? as an animal biologist we're taught that everything's basically about sh&gging.

At the risk of having to discuss Bill Bailey's or Otis Ferry's genitals any further I'm gonna leave this line of conversation. A very wise move, I think.

It's always a possibility. maybe deep down i just want to let my spirit free and be a hunter.

yeah right!

I've been in the library for 9 hrs now and I want to get a few JD's before closing. I'm actually salivating at the thought of alchohol. I've decided to get wrecked tonight (but only in my own, quiet, repressed kinda way).

Laters...

yes, your right, how about we get plasterers and builders to run the country.... maybe polish ones would be a good idea, theres lots of those going spare at the minute.....

Hahaha... I did actually laugh quite loud at that!!

Dissertation sounds interesting, I wanted to do a similer one, but my supervisor said I couldn't. I think he's an anti!!

Makes me laugh when you've obviously spent months and months researching your topic and yet people still let their emotions make them believe they are right!!

I get the same though, after just finishing my dissertation which actually proves that the majority of owners feeding policies are the root cause of abnormal behaviour. Yet according to most I'm still wrong!!

What on earth is fact nowadays anyway!!! We all might as well be living in disney land!!

Weird that, thats the way I percieve lots of pros.

My mate is an anthropology major and he wanted to do his dissertation on a cultural analysis of hunt sabateurs but his supervisor said that fox hunting was an overdone topic.

Was that the same with u?

Surely not as much as climate change? But if that's where the funding is ...

That would have made a fascinating paper: "Antis are bigger toffs than pros", perhaps?

I think he was hoping to look at whether there were any commonality between their respective lifestyles/class/backgrounds that they shared. or something like that.

Antis are bigger toffs than pros

You'd be very surprised mate if you knew more about some of the people running around out there during hunt season. It makes very interesting conversation but you know I can't go in to that, mores the pity.

No, I'm doing an Equine Sport Performance degree and wanted to study the effects of hunting on the horse etc, but I wasnt allowed so am doing abnormal behaviours instead, which is even more controversial in my eyes as some owners refuse to admit or even contemplate that its their management systems that have caused the behaviour. But thats a different matter.

Haha... you should come to South Wales then you'll find the anti's are definatly the posh tw*ts who dont actually know why they are protesting, but because daddy sent them to Univeeeeeersity, they insist on not washing for weeks and claiming they are vegans, its cool apparently.
However, again a different matter.
