Today Little Stig was allowed a couple of hours in the small paddock we have hastly chucked together for him!
Turned him out and he took off like a rocket, at a flat out gallop.....then stopped dead as he noticed the neighbours all stood staring at him.
Cue the emergence of "show off ponio". Not even sure HE was aware he could trot on the spot!
After a few "intros" over the the gate, we put Ruby in with him, as she tends to adopt anything that breathes and so Little Stig has his first friend!
Little Stig has now figured how to "collapse" to avoid going back to bed

So thats two little things he has now to show his disapproval....pogo-ing and throwing himself down on the floor

After he had settled down a bit!

OMG I can't believe how tiny he is!! Ruby looks huge! What breed do you think he is?

You are doing a fab job with him

You know I haven't measured his height, I was more intent on measuring his middle!

I shall do that tomorrow Mrs M, but at a guess maybe 32inches....(he is certainly no bigger than my mini who herself is 32 inches)
In any case I think its fair to say his personality will always be bigger than his height ever will be!

Bless his little cottons! I didnt realise exactly how small he really is! Do you think the neglect will have effected his growth? You're really doing a fab job, i always look forwards to Stig updates.

You'll have to have a height and weight chart

. Measure his progress

Yes we are weighing him on a weekly basis...from next week I shall have proper scales (those bar things you put a board over) thanks to a lovely friend.

His rug was very kindly sent to him by another forum member

We managed to find one little stable rug that was too big and then some lovely HHO'ers came to the rescue.

Who would have thought small rugs were so hard to find!

I would like to join Little Stigs FB group - could someone give me the link please?

ETA: ignore that - just seen it in suggestions
