Rudeness, people that over rug and those people that if you had a black cat their cat would be blacker....if you know what i mean
Oh but it is!. Finishing second makes you the number 1 looser.People who are overly competitive at local shows; I understand you're here to win but placing second isn't the end of the world
and the horses who are 'really naughty' when they dont do any thing and those who post pictures of them jumping 4ft when its really not even 3ft![]()
Novices who think they know everything, go on about how naughty their pony when it could practially be cannonised, fall off for no apparent reason, dont tell the bleeding animal off when it's ill-mannered and just sit there tense and clinging on, don't appreciate the importance of flatwork and think jumping is just charging round pointing at fences and kicking, think jumps can be used as a reward randomly when trying to settle a horse into a new arena... I could go on![]()

Yep that person to
Although it wasnt originaly written about them just another morning at the yard prompted that rant
.
I cant - it would make that person far too identifiable on hereThen I'd be accused to bullying, probably
![]()
OMG. They've multipliedThey're taking over the world
We're doomed!
Its ok our secret is safeand its not bullying as I dont think said person would ever consider them self a novice so we couldnt possibly be talking about them
No its ok its one of the original muppets I just whitnessed the spactacle that is tacking up the other daywho knew a horse could be so rude and not get told off and a pair of boots could take so long to put on

Oh 4*, you weren't watching me with my big lad yesterday were you? Or that farce that was me trying to get him to get his big foot off the mare's travel boot, for about five minutes*wails*
Argh I can't stand fidgeters! Drives me up the bloody wall![]()
It was going for her head with a front leg!! but not once was it told offthen there was the please open your mouth for the bit whilst not even holding the horse.... unsuprisingly the rude git shoved it head straight up and clamped its mouth shut
. I think you need to come down just for a laugh one day
.
Sometimes I think the best thing for all concerned would be a bullet. In the head. Of the ownerPeople let their animals away with all sorts of nonsense
The ice was just about do-able yesterday but now theres more snow I dont knowbut we are getting out some how because we are jumping at college tomorrow morning

I agree Dollymix, however the alternative is the knot being in a place where it can undo/ break when the horse pulls on the net causing it to fall to the floor and get caught around neddies feet. Can't win with haynets I'm afraid... not nice things.

I don't really like haynets either...but to stop the knot coming undonw, just tie a quick release and put the end of the rope, through the loop and pull. Still easy to undo!!!
I am useless. I freely admit it! I hope no one takes my advice too seriously as it is probably at best unhelpful and at worse dangerous. What can you do though hey?!![]()
Yesterday I wished I had had a video camera on me. It was like the horsey version of the film "The Plank", honestly it was comical. I just give up and smile and play up to being a dotty old lady now - what's your excuse![]()
Dropped on the head as a child? My mother did throw me down the stairs as a baby. Well, she says she dropped me, but I have my doubts that it wasn't an accident![]()
