Oh my what beauties. I definitely need Spud in my life 😍. He would fit so well with my little Ruby. I hope you have years of fun with him and his mum x

Ooo yes ! We keep referring to him as potato but Spud is much nicer .

Unfortunately the home we had lined up for him has fallen through, I'm trying to persuade OH we need a potato pup in our life permanently but he's not giving in

Blob sounds fantastic 😍
God, I wish I were in a position to take on a puppy! Both parents are gorgeous, and I love a chunk.

She's brilliant , soft as butter but also a keen little mouser !

Dad is the same , both working farm types with straight legs .

So many now are crossed with sausage dogs to get this strange colours and have legs pointing at 10 to 2
When I was puppy hunting I saw adverts for blue merle, black/tan and cream coloured Jack Russells😲

Your pups look great. Think of the fun you will have with them when they've opened their eyes and start running around🐕

Yes, this exactly!! A person near me is advertising lilac coloured ones for £850!! I'm sure that Parson Russell used to hunt terriers that were mainly white, with a few black bits, ears, eyes and base of tail. And they would probably not have had Queen Anne legs.

I would love another and look at the adverts daily, but realistically due to my advancing years, I think I need something less energetic 😄☹️

When I was looking for a pup (when I got Ruby) there was a litter of lilac puppies advertised locally and they did look pretty. I had never heard of this colour in JRTs so spoke to my vet just to see what he thought. Most of what he thought is not repeatable (he's a terrier man himself) and he just said steer clear unless you want to spend most of your hard earned cash on vet bills. I also thought that JRTs are supposed to be mainly white with black and/or tan markings.

£850 is nothing to what JRT puppies were fetching a couple of years ago - many were advertised at £1500 - £2k. Our youngest is now two and was the only boy in the litter, his sisters were sold for £1350. Luckily I knew the breeders sister and she put in a good word for me so we got him at a bargin price. The first JRT we had when Mr EM and I were first married was £35!!

I hope Potato/Spud gets a lovely home.

We are pricing these at £780.00 , which i think is fair for traditional bred, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped.

They are in our kitchen so used to other dogs, cats and a very loving toddler ...

Mr Potato is lined up for a home now, but we did have a chap enquire who said ' im only wanting to spend a max of £50 for a terrier' ... I politely wished him the best of luck and advised even rehoming centres have usually a min fee of around 100-200 £.

We paid £1500 for Pip the mum and would pay that again in a heart beat for the breeding, support from her breeder whom we are now good friends with and knowing so much thought has gone into producing these little dogs.

Defo potato in the middle for me. I can smell him from here! That gorgeous puppy smell and the little noises they make and when they just flake out on you. Getting broody for another one.

OMG £780 I'll take all three! Bargain. Well bred little ones from a proper home.
I paid £900 for Ruby the January before lockdown so 2020. KC registered, parents both health checked, wormed, de-fleaed, chipped, jabbed 16 weeks old as breeder kept until well after xmas. She was a bargain. 18 months later my son bought another from that breeder - she was £1500. Lovely little dog though :)

@SDMabel I think I've waited patiently enough for a pup date? 😇😂

Sorry we've had a bit of a stressful week !

The poor little bitch pup whom the stud are having , isn't walking right on one of her front legs. They have really started to move about this week, which is why it's not really presented itself till now , after a vet visit shes been diagnosed with hyperflexion of the wrist , which thankfully does improve with age and specialist vet is very happy it should correct itself within 6-8 weeks and have no lasting effects. The boys arec ompletely normal and so is her other front leg , we were just so worried it was going to be something awful.

They have all got teeth now (Poor pip) it's like sitting in a pen with sharks 😁, they've started growling at eachother, yapping and Pips been teaching them the art of shaking and playing with Mr fox her beloved and very smelly toy.

Mr Potato has been given the name of Sprout from his new family which is very fitting, the other smaller dog pup is to be called Teddy (after his father) and the little girl is looking like PJ - Pip junior.

Some fairly rubbish photos below, will get some better ones this weekend .

Sprout still enjoys back sleeping

Sorry to hear about the little bitch! But well done for catching it early and getting it looked at!
They are such a gorgeous little set though! and Mum sounds like she's doing great with them.

Oh I SO need a JRT puppy in my life again. They are just scrumptious and I want to sniff them and rub my nose on them!! Good news about little bitch pup and potato boy and Teddy sound as if they will have loving homes. I bet you'll miss them but be glad of the peace (as will Pip).

Some pup pictures from this weekend, our toddler turned 2 years old and was gifted a dumper truck toy from his Granny.

As it turns out it is just the right size to fit the pups in 😄 ( he is never unattended with any of them)

Little bitch pups leg has been seen by a specialist and is carpal laxity , something they are confident will correct itself within 4 weeks as she gets stronger on it. I can already see an improvement from when she first started to move around.
