I have a weatherboard kyla and it's the best coat I've ever had. Coming up to its third winter and I could just about do with reproofing it now as the elbows have just began to seep through in downpours.
Love my riding skirt. I don’t need it quite so much now but when I was diy it was a game changer.A curve ball...have you considered a riding skirt? Warmer as they seal off the waist and available in all sorts of fabrics/insulation.
Waterproof riding skirts are brilliant, I wouldn't go without one now. They also mean you can wear any thickness of coat on top so don't need full-length coats for every temperature. Nice to have a completely dry saddle and boots too.A curve ball...have you considered a riding skirt? Warmer as they seal off the waist and available in all sorts of fabrics/insulation.
You wear it doing chores?Love my riding skirt. I don’t need it quite so much now but when I was diy it was a game changer.
If it’s cold, yes. Mine is one of the shorter ones. You wear it doing chores?
I got my daughter a Stierna raincoat for her birthday and it’s lovely. It has two side splits rather than one at the back but is very flattering and completely waterproof even when she’s riding several horses on a torrentially wet day.

I always find that once my thighs get cold they take forever to warm up. The riding skirt prevents them getting cold.
mine is like this, but a cheaper version
I have just fallen in love with this one https://www.houghtoncountry.co.uk/stierna-nova-long-rain-coat-p9567
Not too keen on the price though
I'm a size 12!!!Have a look around - you may well be able to find one a bit cheaper especially if you’re not a size 12 - the tiny sizes often come up in sales![]()
These looks so nice!! Not sure on the price though!Try a Stierna - they’re really waterproof and you might find one reducedif you look at the lighter weight ones.
