Given the news re. Little Cob, we need a field.
The livery he is at has 24/7 turnout until the clocks change, then out after six a.m. and in by five p.m., which isn't going to work for the lad. I'll happily put Dizz out with him as he'll need the company. We will just have to hire a school when D1 wants to jump Dizz.
I'm sharing Dizz 'till we get D1 another horse for D1, though as we've just bought her a new scooter for her Birthday in October, it will have to be a cheap as chips horse! The insurance alone is more than I paid for my first car. Ho hum.
So, anyone? A field of at least two acres. Don't mind what it does/doesn't have, so long as reasonably safe for the neds - we're happy to do a bit of work on fencing/land (well, the Ds are, I'm broken
).
Either just a field we can rent, or failing that, grass livery, but it has to be guaranteed 24/7/365.
We can send LC to a friend's place (very kind of her
), but D1 is having problems getting her head round not seeing him every day. I've promised that we'll go every month and she has a friend living near my friend, so that would work out well for them, but she's seen this pony and cared for him every day bar a couple of weeks holiday since she's had him. Gentle steps needed right now.
