Shoppers of HHO, I have a mission for you.

I am looking for what seems to be an impossible item. Green mare is transitioning out of a drop to a cavesson, but I'll be damned if I can find one. List of criteria is as follows:

• Ideally just the noseband, but would be open to buying a bridle.
• Mono crown headpiece
• Crank noseband, she will headshake in a regular cavesson (I have no idea why, every test under the sun has been done)
• No flash attachments unless they're removable; I don't like the dangly bit
• Ideally quite a thick noseband; she's got a big ole head ?
• Black
• X-full
• Ideally in matte leather, but at this point I'm not fussy. Just no big white pads, or bling.
• Under £100 if just a noseband, under £200 for a bridle.
• Ideally rolled leather with padding, but would be open to flat padded leather if there was a nice browband to go with.

I think that's everything. I've scoured Hickstead yesterday and today and found nothing, one noseband that fit all criteria but was so tight I could barely get a finger under it on the first hole! Plenty of double bridles I could buy, but we're not quite there yet!

Please and thank you to everyone that takes the time to look

some to be considering
https://www.dekroo.com/products/br-crank-noseband (seems to match spec tho shipping from abroad, and would depend on sizing)
https://cathedral-equine.co.uk/coll...seband-black-padded-with-black-patent-leather (shiny and not rolled)
https://www.shop.sabreleather.co.uk/sabre-cordoba-snaffle-round-raised-cavesson-noseband-5393-p.asp not rolled and not shiny
https://bonnie-bridles.co.uk/produc...way-crank-cavesson-noseband-twin-buckle-matt/ not rolled and not shiny, though they might be able to make you up a rolled one, worth asking

i have the last one (FSS) in patent and for the price it's really nice.

I've ordered that one, I'll try and post some pictures of her modelling it when it arrives.

I've seen them a few times and always thought they looked nice for the price. They used to do a really nice drop noseband that almost looked like a Fairfax nock off, but they seem to have stopped making it now.

That one is lovely, but unfortunately won't attach to my bridle as it only fastens on one side of the headpiece.

If you find one you like at a good price, it doesn’t cost a lot to get a saddler to change a slip head to a monocrown. They just need to chop off some leather and stitch on a buckle

I might have to do that if the one MP has recommended doesn't work out. It seems to be finding one to fit the mono crown that's the stumbling block.
