Hello,
I'm currently on the hunt for new long boots, ive got a pair of tredsteps and at first I loved them but they've stretched over 2 years and only worn for comps and hunting, so won't be going back to them(I can now store my chunky whip in them while having a drink! Not ideal but handy). I'm not a fan of ariats as they are so bulky on my legs and they seem to fall apart (I've had so many paddock boots and chaps that just don't last)
I'm looking for off the peg preferable brown and quite tight fitting(I find it helps with my leg position) I don't mind forking out a bit but I'm not interested in custom because I'll break them!
Or if anyone has taken to have their boots taken in has it worked? Because I love the look of my tred steps and they're on great condition but they are just too baggy now, there's no elastic on my pair so I don't know if taking them in would work
