So the lovely connie pony I was having vetted today PASSED!!!! Small crack in one hoof but vet happy with the overall condition if all 4 feet, slight scurfy heels on her back legs and that was it!!!!! Sound as a pound otherwise!!!

So she comes home (bring delivered) to be with me tomorrow. I'm a bit overwhelmed by it all actually but I'm soooo tired (see can't sleep thread) and releaved.

Set my stable up at the yard (people seem very nice and my neighbour in particular very lovely) and sorted things like buckets and hay nets... Bought some basic feed and one of my lovely friends us lending me a few rugs until the weekend and we go to yhl (she's clipped and isn't it cold tonight all of a sudden).

I'm just going to sort some photos of her to put on here!!!

Thanks to all if you got your support. It's been invaluable and has made the process easier and I dare say quicker.

My oh is doing a but of eye rolling (about money) but has said he'd like to be confident enough to handle her on his own. My old boy didn't like him (was very jealous) and used to take the pee a bit lol!!!

Congratulations!! Very exciting, and a relief after all your searching!! Can't wait to see some pics of her settling into your yard, and future posts about what you get up too! Absolutely love Connies, owned one, met and ridden many, and never come across a bad one!!

I hadn't missed a post, I liked this one, hope she turns out as good as she looks....by the way we still need piccies when she is home. what is she called?

Fixed images for you :).

She's absolutely stunning, can't wait to see how you do with her! If she goes missing she's not in West Wales ;).

She's called Menlo Star. By Coill Rua Champ out of Rathcoona a Hazel. Damsire is Moy Hazy Cove, if you know you're breeding (which I didn't really). I'm going to call her Lottie.

lovely name to go with a pretty girl... the breeding means nothing to me as I am more into dressage or welsh cobs.....It has been really nice to be on your journey and to be a bit of help(I hope) good luck...

Lots of help thank you!!!

She's been known as Fleur for the past few weeks, but oh vito'd it and I don't much like it. So it's Lottie!!!

Oh wow she's beautiful! I love Connemaras, recently sold one that was related to yours :) through Hazy Dawn (damsire sire). So quite distantly related ! . Best of luck with her, but sure you won't be needing it :D
