Hi all, I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I also saw many red flags but was very much liking the stamp of pony / horse. The size and price tag ended my interest.

Agree, initial alarm bells ringing, mainly due to age, but then wondering if the advertisers are doing the horse a disservice by advertising with dummy rider etc, as it’s made us all question and look really closely- possibly too closely? Just musing as would go off gut feeling/ initial reaction. Lovely stamp though.

In my younger days I would of got on once I had layed over it etc but the lunge pictures it looks flighty if you see what I mean

I do, I thought the same but wasn't sure whether I was being daft. If I was going to sit on something for the first time I'd want it so laid back on the lunge it was almost horizontal. I didn't think it boded terribly well for an easy family pony.

Huge alarm bells ringing. Why won't they just sit on him?
.
I think its because the owner is too heavy maybe? She is just wanting to break him in and not back him. That's my impression. I know someone years ago who also used a dummy rider as she was too big for the pony too.
