hi, i have a 2 year old hanoverian gelding, who, up to yet has never had any skin complaints or problems. while grooming him today i noticed that he has little lumps all over one side of his body, from neck to tail, not on legs or back, just his side (he does have a few on his other side but not half as many) i did bath him a week ago in a propper equestrian shampoo, i have not changed his feed for about 2 months and as far as i can think i have not given him anything he hasnt had before. i have been told it looks like an elergic reaction and that i should bath him in an antibacterial shampoo and give him some common antihistamines? is this correct and what advise does anyone els have for me befor i make the expencive call for the vet, thanks.
