Love the saddlecloths. Please post more pictures!
Would love to go next year. How much are tickets etc?

Err, I am ashamed to say I just let the camera get on with its job and I do not interfere... just as you would do with a dressage schoolmaster
Seriously, I know nothing about stuff like shutter speed, etc -- all I do is have the setting permanently on Sport (obviously!) and the camera does the rest.
But I fear that this is also why my indoor photos are so rubbish compared to the outdoor ones -- maybe I *should* be doing somethingif I had time and money I would love to take a proper photography course, but for now I will have to leave it up to Nikon
One last photo before I go to sleep ...
HEAVEN!!! HEAVEN!!!

Not sure what all the buzz about Ozzy is, I think he is just a dog with a huge personality! I guess he is one of those people who are beautiful yet don't know it
No Concept even sell "I love Ozzy" polo shirts
I can't take photos of dressage horses without using the sport setting, because the sport setting is the only thing that allows me to take enough photos of a movement so that I can then select the moment where the horse is at his most expressive... but maybe it would work with other disciplines!
Oh wow, they're amazing FB, thanks for sharing them.I'm all inspired to sit up straight instead of hunching up to avoid the snow/rain/cold, and may even get my dressage saddle out and blow the dust off it.
Doubt I'll ever get excited about saddle cloths though, sorry.

My pleasure, I still have loads to post -- esp. Girasol, she really is everything she is made out to be!!
Baydale I know what you mean re. inspiration, I will totally have in mind that picture of Katharina Birkenholz from behind next time I fall over to the left in half pass rightIn fact I should probably print it and staple it to Rauti's ears...
Ok, Girasol is a young mare by Gribaldi who was bought last year by Nadine Cappellmann -- everybody said she was going to be Germany's answer to Totilas (this was before Germany *bought* Totilas, obviously) She has not been competed much yet, and this weekend was the first time I had actually seen her -- OMG! Stunning, she really does move like Totilas, some things still need polishing but she is going to be absolutely awesome. Think, erm, Totilas.
