Its like being in the centre of a monsoon (just off junction 6 - M40), thunder and lightening and torrntial rain since about 7am. I got sun burnt yesterday!

JB Ive just seen the forecast for this afternoon....I think we may need our waders by about 4pm.

Its terrible! I can't even get to my horses as the drive is waist high in water and thats the only way to the yard! Stratford upon Avon is under water

I am in central London - and have never seen rain like it apart from once in Thailand in the wet season.

The roof on the third floor has leaked resulting in me moving 10 PCs, two huge MFDs and various people to other desks.

I am now exhausted and covered in sweat - lovely when you are riding but not nice when you are in the office.

Hope the C's are ok.

Bloody mountain roaddrainage system comes through our cattle grid into another drain - it filled with silt and has flooded my feed room & verandas!! Deck is under 3" of silt

Maidenhead is where all our outsourced web servers are (at Siemens) and we have been warned it could all go TU because of the severe weather. We are in Hampshire so could be stuffed work wise soon

as 2 of the stables have just been taken down.

It was hot and sunny yesterday, i can't believe it.

Rain has nearly stopped here, but the wind is really strong.
The road is now flooded and the drains are overflowing.
Thankfully around teh corner is a fire station, but theyve already been called out on one job.
Hopefully thats teh worse of it, but according to ITV news the rain is due to get worse by 6pm, so god knows...

dry and fine here. (near york) windy tho. looks like it will eventually rain.... but thats not much differance to the last week anyway!
