my tbx welsh 8yr gelding gets a bit uptight has anyone used mag based calmers, what did you think? Do certain things work for different horses. I think we have low mag levels on our farm as we supplement our cows with mag. generally he is great but very green.

Hello and welcome to the forum
There tend to be quite a few posts about calmers in the Stable Yard- here is one to get you started...I'll try and find some more for you

ive used Equiliser with great results however a friend of mine says that you can feed Magnesium oxide which is a hell of a lot cheaper with as good a results.

Feedmark Steadyup is excellent, have had and seen results with this over the years on lots of different types of horses.

Like Accy I've fed Feel Good 30 Science Formula Calming with really good results, it's certainly the best of the ones I've tried.
