magnesium calmers

my tbx welsh 8yr gelding gets a bit uptight has anyone used mag based calmers, what did you think? Do certain things work for different horses. I think we have low mag levels on our farm as we supplement our cows with mag. generally he is great but very green.

ive used Equiliser with great results however a friend of mine says that you can feed Magnesium oxide which is a hell of a lot cheaper with as good a results.

Ditto Thistle - Nupafeed I have heard is excellent but expensive at £90 per bottle.

I use NAF magic on my boy, but have heard that the Nupafeed one is excellent!!

Am using Magic on my boy and is having desired effect. Get it for £18 for 40+ aswell, so good value...

Like Accy I've fed Feel Good 30 Science Formula Calming with really good results, it's certainly the best of the ones I've tried.
