How can the house feel so empty when you still have 2 (noisy!) dogs?
JD just had such a huge presence. The house feels strange and quiet. I’ve just come up to bed for the first time without her

It’s so hard even with other dogs at home… my collie cross was a very quiet unassuming girl but when I lost her I couldn’t believe how much I missed her presence.. it will get easier but the loss never goes away …

Totally understand, especially when a dog has a big personality or has been around such a long time, particularly through formative periods of your life.
