I need to work a bit on this. I tend to use the word wait and he will wait until released, but I’m sure if someone else opened the boot without saying the word, he would jump out. So this is a good reminder as, much like with horses, it’s about teaching them the skills to be safe and okay if anyone else ever has responsibility for them.

He does it a lot, must have taken some doing with that many. We did it with 3 when we had Brig, not sure I could manage more.

I did this earlier, I cycle through names until I get the right one. ‘Puss cat, I mean Zak, Goose, MITCH GET DOWN’. Got there eventually. ?

Nope, even my terriers come out by name. Same for dinners, go to your bowl on your name
