Hi, I am new to posting although have read quite a few posts researching ideas on this...
I am very lucky to have my two horses at home, however my current combination has thrown up an issue I have never had before (maybe I have been lucky). I have a just backed young gelding out with my sons little mare. He has been with us just over a month and is amazing in every way, however I can see their growing relationship is creating problems on both sides. He is nappy now to get out (ride through able but I don't want it getting any worse) but fine once out of earshot, and even she is getting a bit silly when out (totally unlike her). I have never ridden them out together and I bring them in separately. I cannot split the paddock (long story). I am at the point where I think I may have to get my son a little gelding as I don't want this problem escalating. Please help...any thoughts welcome!
