Massive dilema!! Please help

I've been reading this all day & agreed with alot that has been said. However one point has made me add a comment. You say she jumped better somewhere else. That might be your key. I've got a 4 rising 5yo who goes ok at home, but I know he can go better & sometimes I get really frustrated that we aren't progressing as much as I'd like. I then go to a competition or a lesson somewhere else & he's fantastic. The difference is amazing.
My instructor thinks he's just one of those horses who loves going to a party! She had an eventer who now at 2* who was the same.
I work him at home & do exercises to improve him but don't stress if he doesn't seem too inspired. I take him elsewhere once a week to do a bit more work or compete. Plus he hacks out loads to give him plenty of variety.
Good luck.

She does jump better out and about and to be honest some of her best work has been at shows in the warm up area (when we go in the ring it goes a bit to pot though).

Getting her out and about is hard as i dont have my own transport but i am also working hard at that and got a number for a driving instructor who does trailer tests so with any luck i would of passed that come summer.

I do also keep her work as varied as possible, i lunge, school couple of times, jump, hack out and i try not to do the same thing 2 days in a row if i can help it and she gets 2 days off a week.

When the summer comes it will be so much better so i am hoping that will be our turning point.

Star is the same as just said - at home she can be really stressy, lazy and hardwork but soon as we go to a show or even just instructors place its a totally different story...i have to hold her back lol

Maybe she is just one of those that couldnt care less about working at home...

my old boy is an ex grade A and did some serious heights, but at home or training he really cannot be bothered. He has no respect for small stuff....

The other ex p2p horse we have acquired must have had a hell of a jump at speed to jump the fences, but again 2ft9 he just glides THRO!

Dont give up, try some small XC let your horse knock herself a few times...give jumping a miss for now and do something different for a few months.

Then having had your break and done some other exciting things, find a fab instructor who specialises in SJ and give it another whirl.

I hadn't seen the photos when I answered earlier and after seeing them one thing is very obvious, she doesn't know how to jump. She's not being idle but is jumping stag like with a short stiff neck which makes her unable to lift herself roundly over the jump.
You need to stop jumping and go back to making her flatwork better so it transfers through to her jumping. Until she gets enough muscle built up on her back and backside she can't round properly, and that only comes from flatwork.
Then when you do start again, do grids with no stride so she learns to go through them rounding her back.
Please don't take this as a criticicising type post, it isn't, but it really is obvious when you see the pics what's going wrong. I'm assuming she is also a hot ride?
Definitely get a decent coach to advise you, but I can't see any reason why she shouldn't eventually jump very well indeed, but you're running before you can walk with her at the moment.
Go back and study those pics carefully, and look how tight and short her neck is, that indicates the rest of her behind that is too, so if she is getting over the fences like that, think what she can do when she jumps properly!
