Has anyone heard or used this new gut supplement for their horse. It just came up on my feed on Face Book. It appears to be promoted by someone by the name of Kerry Campbell.
Did you feel better for taking it?Didn't know they now market one for horses. I've been using the human version for years. Just checked and it is genuine but seems an odd way for this company to go
I'll report back at a later point I'm curious how they're getting just the right amount of sugar for there not to be any there when you to feed it for a month+ while also keeping everything alive.
Hi Nikicb no I haven't tried it. I always prefer to hear what others think of a product before I venture forth. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has.I know this thread is a few months old, but @onemoretime did you try this? Someone suggested it to me for my mare to help support her digestive system. She had ulcers last year, but has also had laminitis this year for the first time. I am a little concerned it says it contains molasses, but the website says the supplement is sugar free.
Asking more generally if anyone knows if there is any science behind this product?

Ingredients:
Purified water, Organic molasses, Bifidobacterium: B. bifidum, B.breve, B. longum. Lactobacillus: L.acidophilus, L. delbrueckii, L. casei, L. reuterii, L. plantarum, L. lactalis. Sacharomyces: S. boulardii, S. cerevisiae. Bacillus subtilis, Streptococcus thermophilus.
All molasses are completely consumed by the microbes, leaving the final product sugar free.
I doubt it!My scepticism had already kicked in, hence I asked the question "Asking more generally if anyone knows if there is any science behind this product?".![]()
Did anyone with a scientific bent investigate this any further? I’m a little sceptical about some of their claims, however it seems to be the only product on the UK market aimed at horses which contain the organisms I’m looking for. But probably not any safer than using a product aimed at humans![]()
Oh no a rabbit hole![]()
