So a long day out!! Miss R and I hadn't been out since before christmas due to weather and lorry troubles. But today we finally got out to do some BSJA. Took her to do the 80cm and 90cm amateur classes. Wasn't expecting much as Miss R is only rising 5 and had only done one BN before x-mas.

80cm was not our best, she was fresh and I was fighting with her. But the 90cm it all came together. She jumped a super clear and then we had a good jump off first fence down cause I rushed her. But we ended up 5th so have qualified and she got her first money on her card :) Soooo happy with her!!!

OH was along so had a great groom (what a treat) and video/picture evidence.

Here is the video from the first round:

And a pic of her getting her ribbon and money.

Well done for your placing and what a great honest horse esp being so young aswell, hopefully a great future ahead! :)

Thanks again :) Soo chuffed with her! No more 80cm will stick with getting our 4 BN DCs and throw in some Disco's in the mix as well.

I know this may sound cheesy but I love my Miss R, she makes jumping a pleasure :)

Oh well done! I was there yesterday but didn't realise it was you. There weren't many clears in the 90cm so you did well. I had a very stupid fence down that was totally my fault then went clear in the 1m so I was pleased :) I was the one with the tweed jacket (think there was only me and Anna Craigie in tweed haha) and big dark bay horse, will keep an eye out for you next time. Have to say I was admiring your jacket, it is gorgeous, I am definitely lusting after a blue jacket! Hmm maybe I can dream on ;)

Riaseed007 definitely come over and say hi next time!! I'm at most of their BSJA shows. Think I saw about 3 or 4 people in tweed so must have seen you about. Congrats on going clear in the 1m :) Don't think there were many clears in that class either!

Thanks for the compliments on the coat. It was my Olympia "bargain" someone had bought it but returned it to the shop after a couple of wears to update to next season's jacket so I got it for 50% off. Don't care if it's last years model, don't think anyone would notice anyways!!

What a lovely honest mare. :D

She was flowing so nicely from fence to fence. As the others have said she has deff got the scope to go higher :)

I bet you cant wait to see what the furture unfolds because she looks like a star in the making :D

Yeah I sure will do, not sure I will be out BS for a wee while tho, start of the event season xc prep so think I'm busy with that when the next few shows are on.

Thanks, was very pleased with him, feel like we are finally getting somewhere as he has been very challenging!

Ooh that's very lucky, there were a few people with gorgeous jackets, saw someone else with a similar one to you but a brighter blue, I couldn't decide which one I liked better! Maybe if I ever give up eventing I can justify buying one but until that day I probably can't! Unless I spy one at 50% off like you! Is it an animo you have?
