'This is a serious post as we are trying to locate my dear friend Robert Sansom. Rob left home this morning leaving a note saying he was going for a walk and hasn’t returned. This is very much out of character. Obviously the police have been informed and a search is underway. Rob lives in the North East of England in the small town of Choppington. Rob is one of the eminent figures within the breed of Cavalier King Charles and of the dog world in general.'

He was last seen in Ashington

Rob still has not been found this evening, Northumbria Police are appealing for witnesses.

I’m going to see my mum on Sunday and I’m dreading having tell her if there is bad news, I’m keeping everything tightly crossed ?

No news - Northumbria police and Mountain Rescue have over 50 trained search people out today plus local volunteers, police helicopter, drones, tracker dogs etc.

I’m going to see my mum tomorrow so I can tell her face to face at least, unless one of her friends rings her in the meantime. My sister has just reminded me that Rob judged the last Cavalier Club championship show before lockdown & my mum’s bitch won Limit- I always teased her for entering under him as he always put her up ?
