Missold a horse advice please

so glad someone is taking this matter seriously. Its about time these dodgy people were brought to task.

Don't hold your breath. I've only ever heard of one successful criminal prosecution, and those people had been operating for years selling hundreds of horses in conspiracy with a vet. It seems very unlikely this will go anywhere, since it started with not knowing whether it could even be proved that the seller was a dealer.

Jessie I am thoroughly confused. At two o'clock today you were stuck at talking to your bank (though why they would be interested I don't know) and going to a small claim.

Now a few hours later, on a Sunday, you have a full on criminal prosecution being taken up by your country's equivalent of the RSPCA and the Police.

Have I misunderstood something somewhere?

I wish you and the horse a happy outcome. I hope you will update us when you can.

Sorry, I do realise this is progressing in ways I didn’t see. It’s gone from being missold to doping animals. Btw my bank had buyers protection now, like when you use a credit card. Knowing someone that works at the bank it’s quite a new function for buyers protection. Also my solicitor is extremely confident in proving they are a business.
I probably have been bad at explaining, everything has gone a bit mad and my mental health is at an all time low.

Update: she took him back at a very reduced price. It was really affecting my health and just needed it over. Wasn’t fit for a long court battle or anything else.
Was absolutely horrible to me. Told I need an RDA pony and that I’ve ruined her horse. He actually looked better now than before. Have videoed everything prior to her arrival as he wasn’t injured or anything just to cover my back.
He was absolutely awful in the trailer and I was blamed for that too. Considering I’ve had him no where near a trailer it’s shocking. In regards to me ruining her horse, a 2.5 week holiday including a full MOT and coming up for a groom and a fuss and a lunge every few days is a great way to ruin one...
I’m just glad it’s over. What a horrible situation ☹️ Going to do my best to see she doesn’t do it to anyone again if I can ☹️

I'm sorry you had a rough time of it but pleased for you the matter is closed now and hope you can focus on yourself a bit now, take care x

Thanks guys, a nice loans has come up in the area so hoping that works out and I’ll probably not buy a horse until it’s from a dealer I know personally. Trust issues ?
