I also like Kramer Equestrian, decent price and quality and is comfy and looks stylish to me, i think based in europe but they cover import fees so you dont have to pay extra

They have a base in Devon too. Kramer stuff is really good. Their enormous shops are amazing, I went to one in Germany last year and it was well worth a visit.

There really is no reason to buy at full price ever. I tend to bulk buy at the right times of year (out of season or discounted)
Baselayers from Primark. Breeches I am so fussy on but really like Eileen Douglas. I am obsessed with coats as have so many different weights/types and do tend to buy those new but out of season. You would never see me in an Equidry.

I’ve got some lovely justtogs denim-look breeches that I bought recently for £35 in a sale. They have the grippy seat and are very comfortable and good quality, they do different colours too, including black. I’d definitely have another pair. Unfortunately I wore them for gardening and the thorns have snagged them a bit but that’s just typical me

I like to look smart, but don't want to be spending Ariat/Premier Equine/similar type money.

Ideally want to invest in new yard wardrobe so:
Breeches
Baselayer type tops (Not Le Mieux)
Softshell type jacket

Where do you all buy from? I'd like to look presentable should I turn up to a clinic or lesson wearing to outfit!

Bear with me, this is going somewhere!
I went to visit a friend who works in a gifts/china business. She said she'd had a really boring day because she had been told to take all the price labels off hundreds of little items and re-label them with a higher price. The reason was that they were due to set off with a van full of goods to set up a stall at Blair, so everything had to be swapped for equine prices.
So the moral of the story is, buy your tops and jacket from somewhere that doesn't market itself as "Equine". Personally I like Regatta. Or try a farm supplies shop that's not in a 'horsey area'. I got a lovely jacket from Carrs Billington and the shockingly bright orange top I hack in came from the centre isle of Lidl.

Secondly, buy things at the 'wrong' time of year. If you get your gloves in August & your fly products in December, you'll save a fortune on exactly the same items.

Jodhpurs seem to be less fashionable than breeches & seen more as "a children's thing", so can be cheaper, even though its women's sizes you're looking at.
For example, I just looked at a well known supplier & their breeches were all around £60-£100, 'riding tights' roughly half that, jods started at £16.

I never pay full price for anything. Some of my jodhpurs are 35 years old from when I was 15 and still going strong.

I decided I need a new pair for viewings so and I got some reduced from 54 to about 16

TKMaxx . I've found Musto , Toggi , Puffa , Crew , Joules - for polo shirts , tops and jackets , Le Chameau wellies ( not my size but resold them on ebay ! ) . Got a fabulous full length Wellynstien ' Eismantel ' coat which is marketed as a ' coaching coat ' on a high end equine site for £200+ . It is superb quality , padded , competely and utterly waterproof , has poppered side seams so you can ride in it . It cost me £49.99 . The TKMaxx label said RRP was £199.99 but when I wore it the first time I found , in one of its many , many pockets , a label with the price of 499 euros on it !
For quality base layers you can find Craghoppers , North Face , etc . Always loads of leggings and jackets .
Also once found a lovely pair of mens navy Pikeur breeches for Mr F . They were in the ski wear clearance section for £6 ! I don't think they knew what they were ?

I went to Hope Valley at Somerford last week and the prices of some of the clothes in there were eye watering. I couldn’t justify spending that sort of money on something to wear at the farm. Some of my Ariat hoodies I won’t wear to the farm and I use them as ‘normal’ clothes. I far prefer to pick up £8 hoodies from primark for the farm and wear them to death.
The most I’ll pay for everyday riding tights is £35.

I think her range is really well priced and good quality.

I agree with the buy well and once. Particularly for winter stuff where being warm and dry is paramount. I have Toggi winter breeches and musto coats, all bought out of season so at a discount.

Summer riding is more about decent light tshirts and running gear is perfectly good enough.

I've got some really nice Cavallo breeches bought heavily discounted for shows but day to day cheap and cheerful riding tights, the balance ones are not too thick without being see thru and have the right grippiness on the knee patch. I use them for yoga too.

Apart from jods (I like decent full seat breeches) I get all my riding gear from charity shops. I do shop around a bit - but that's part of the fun - but jackets, fleeces, under layers etc can all be found for a minimal cost. Adding a "horsey" brand to an otherwise perfectly normal fleece top adds £££ to the price generally, and I have found very nice Joules, Ariat and Pikeur stuff, as well as things like Craghoppers, North Face and other brands all at silly cheap prices.

I also buy school PE polo shirts from any big supermarket. Get the boys ones, as they are longer and come in sizes to fit adults, and are generally under £10 for a pack of three. They look smart, are short sleeved, wash well and I have them in navy, pale blue, red, dark green and white.

I would recommend d&c equestrian wear they have beautiful baselayers,hat silks,saddlepads,fly bonnets and browbands.
The equine warehouse or ride away equestrian also have clothing at affordable prices

If you’re not too fussed on colour Tesco have some really nice ‘base layer’ tops I prefer them over a few horsey brand ones I’ve tried and half the price. Same with Matalan.

if you’re wanting to spend more I do love blackforte equestrian leggings and tops but they are a bit pricier

I live in my ariat baselayers get them in the sale. Always wash well and worth the extra money. Love the thumb holes as well.
