A friend and I were having a bit of a laugh about this the other day.
Once upon a time, mixed breed dogs, especially those crossed with more than one other breed were mongrels and not really the favoured pooch of the 'posh' lot....but has anyone noticed that cross breeds such as 'Labradoodles', 'Cookerpoos' etc are now quite fashionable....and cost a fortune!!!!
I don't mean this in any offensive way, so please do not think I am being mean....my dog was from a rescue place, so I'm no dog snob! lol - I just thought it was quite interesting how opinions change!
SO, that got me thinking, maybe we could come up with some names for cross-bred horses? Maybe they'll increase in value to more than the 'pure-breeds'?
I'll go first...I'd quite like a
Welmara (welsh x connie) or a Clevebred/Thoroughbay (Cleveland Bay x TB - couldn't decided which mane I liked best!! lol)
Anymore good ones? - just for a bit of fun!
