I adore all these sweet little moments everyone has with their horses 
I particularly love it when oreo puts her nose in my face and softly blows at me and then precedes to nuzzle me, although she most often has to bring me back to earth by vigorously scratching her head on me 
. Polo was really cute in the field the other day he had stood perfectly still with no headcollar on and nobody by his head whilst i slowly sorted his feet out and i then did a little free lunging in the field (i expected nothing) and whilst trotting round me he just turned his head towards me and watched me 
. It sounds so little but it was so nice to know he was so in tune to me, admittedly the moment was slightly lost when i asked for canter and he blasted to the other side of the field .
Pinnacle moments where i was busting with pride have been when i first got on oreo, our first proper go at trot (felt amazing!) and one of her first shows where she behaved impeccably winning 2 classes and a championship.
With polo - jumping a rather large log on a hack with no hesitation (quite the opposite whilst remaining in perfect control!) and going to a show last year he behaved so wonderfully, right from the start was so soft and calm, quite an accomplishment when i thought how uptight and horrid he had been at shows before with my sister
. It really brought home to us that as long as the rider remained relatively calm and didnt become very tense/rigid, neither did he.
