For anyone planning ahead, Mud (remember what that is?!) Control mats are available at show prices, although the saving is rather tiny @ £1 per sq metre.

My horse will not walk on his. Most expensive treat mat for wilting nettles on that I have ever bought.

Mine are stacked by the water trough ready to be laid wherever the worst mud will be in my new field. One day.
mine need to be in somerset not cambridgeshire, but given that we got hay baled today at least they aren't required right now, I just don't have the biggest of gardens.

Thanks for that op, I love my mats (made last winter much more bearable) and as I don't have facebook I'd not noticed the offer.

My cob uses his (just outside his shelter, at the bottom of a steepish sweeping bank) as a braking area for the CHAAAARGE down the hill at teatime (I need a rollseyes emoji)
