Is anyone going to Munstead this Sunday? I'm fence judging, no idea which fence yet but I'll be in my dark red ford fiesta zetec I would imagine. Do pop along and say hello to a lonely fence judge, it'll be a long day!

I'm there on Sunday in the BE100.

No.339, skewbald mare and I'm in orange top with black and orange starred hat!

I'll be walking the course mid morning so will look out for you :)

I'm going to help a friend competing on Saturday! On the Sunday a massive road race in Surrey so hoping people are not delayed with all the diversions to get there.

I forgot about the road race! Doesn't start until 12 though and finished by 4 so I should be ok.

Fabscd yes I'll be there all day! You'll find me by my user name!

To, tm & uh I've made note to cheer you on!

Morganlafaye...i'll be driving a green Nissan Patrol...as for the briefing...i'll probably be the one sporting a large bruise from ending up in the Trakhener tomorrow!! :D

Don't! You're making me nervous! I'm doing my first BE this year tomorrow and my first at BE90 level since it all started going a bit t*ts up last year. My fault, not the horses.

Ok. Deep breaths... positive visualisation....

Swirlymurphy, will try...although i'm sure it will cause much hilarity if i radio and ask 'Is anyone SwirlyMurphy'!!
Morganlafaye...you'll be fine! I suspect i will also be fine, first time at BE100 for a few years for us, and the last time we went i got splatted in the Trakhener big style, hence my apprehension!

I am fence judging saturday and dressage stewarding sunday :)

For all those worried, Munstead is a lovely, flowing course that suits first timers and inexperienced combinations - you will have a great time round it!

Pretty sure it has been in the September event for the last couple of years, so yes, why break with tradition! :D
Tiapony, i'll be the bumblebee (black and gold xc colours) going past you on a big grey horse. I love Munstead, just my horse (and me tbh) is a bit 'ditchy'!

Go on, I dare you :D I *think* I am the only female XC controller this weekend so unless my colleagues are wearing particularly tight trousers, you should be able to spot the lone female voice....

I've never been to munstead does anyone know if it's a easy place to find?

Munstead IS easy to find providing you are coming away from Godalming, heading towards Hascombe. The entrance is on the left just past Busbridge Junior School (on your left) and Busbridge Church (on your right). If you are coming from Hascombe you have to continue down into Godalming, go around the one-way system and then back up the road as the turning to Munstead is too sharp to make it on the right.

To make it easy I feel Swirly Murphy should annouce for all horse and hound forum fence judges to make themselves known before the start of xc!

I am there tomorrow fence judging and competing on Sunday in the BE90! It will be my five year olds first run so if any of you guys who are fence judging end up having to pick me up i am very sorry ! :D

I'm also at Munstead on Sunday doing the 90. Really unsure as to which route to take to get there. I'm on really late in the afternoon, didn't want to go on the M25 as travelling alone (and I broke down last year!!).

Was going to go via the A25, but Dorking and Reigate (parts of) are closed due to the race.

My other alternative involves a long winded trawl along windey roads and via Crawley and coming into Munstead from the 'wrong direction'..... but I'll probably get lost, even with the Sat Nav - aaarrghhhh!!!!!

Spruce where are you coming from? Sunday is a nightmare for cyclists round here even when there is no cycle race so I would (although I realise you hate it) stick to the M25. Just be aware the cycle race finishes in the middle of Guildford at 3-4pm so that will be shut too.

Swirlymurphy I need a like button!
