Sharing your pain on new injuries. Mine trotted up lame for the physio on Fri. We were both desperately hunting for stones in her hoof but there's a bit of swelling up the leg. Don't think I've had a month without a vet bill this year!

Thank god, some good news that the scan showed no damage to any ligaments or tendons, just a lot of inflammation around the area so have been prescribed some steroid gel and over night the swelling has almost gone. Can go out and be ridden as normal, but I won't do anything strenuous until the swelling has gone as don't want to make anything worse.

Blood results from Sunday still show raised muscle enzymes, as high as a race horse in heavy work. A lot better than 4 weeks ago, but vet is concerned but still waiting for PSSM2 and variants test results.

That's a big relief at least. I hope the test results are with you soon, it's horrible just waiting and not knowing.
