Thank you everyone
I really appreciate your kind words to me ❤️
If anyone has any ideas of what I could do with her hair
Any artists that are good for a painting
Or any tattoo ideas
I would appreciate it
I want to honour her in some way

I'm so so sorry...

I find it harder to hear when they are so so young.

Did the vet give any idea as to what was wrong with her (I don't mean this in an insensitive way so I hope I don't offend)...I just feel so sorry for you xx

We think possibly liver damage but unsure of the extent or how long she had it. She may have had liver fluke but it’s difficult to test for in horses
You do 3 days of poop samples and then another 3 days in 12 weeks because of their lifecycle they might not show up the first test even if they have it
They didn’t show up the first time but we didn’t get the second round done so can’t rule out that she didn’t have them
We also wormed her for tapeworms pretty recently as that was suspected too
I’m not sure if it was a couple of things happening together that got her or one big thing

Oh so sad, I'm so sorry JBM.

You did the best for her and you're a very loving caring owner. I'm sure she appreciated it when she was still here.

Be kind to yourself, it's not easy losing a horse.

So sorry for you loss. What a crying shame she sounded a lovely girl.

I think sometimes with babies if there’s something underlying etc it can be hard to get a hold of and even then sometimes there’s nothing that can be done. You gave her comfort and peace in her final moments. Not that that will be much comfort as grief isn’t logical. Big hugs it’s hard when they are young ☹️ RIP princess.

How very sad. I remember when you posted the picture of her in October, she was so pretty. Sorry you never got to the bottom of why she dropped off so quickly.
