Yes, we had one pony who wouldn't entertain the idea of going into a side loading 3.5t lorry. Parked up by a stable door and every time he baulked at stepping on to the ramp we led him round and round and round inside the stable. Going into the lorry was a much nicer option for him - that actually is negative reinforcement, doing somethig he doesn't like and stopping the instant he does the right thing.
