So sorry to hear your story has come to an end but it sounds like she had a wonderful send off. You did so much for her and I can only aspire to be as caring and giving to my boy if things turned that way. *hugs*

So so sorry to hear this - although I don't think I've commented on posts about her, I have been following all the posts on your's and Lucy's story.

She sounded like an amazing pony and you sound like an amazing owner - well done on making what must have been a horrendously difficult decision made even harder by the fact that you weren't there.

All my thoughts are with you at such a difficult time.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, you were so brave to have made the decision whilst being away from her, she would've thanked you for it.

R.I.P Lucy....run free with the rest of the HHO horses/ponies that have been sadly taken.

Oh Laura, I'm so sorry to hear this. I was wondering how she was and then I saw the title of your post.

I only came to know Lucy's story very recently, but found it to be truly inspiring. You gave Lucy many happy years and she gave you lots of happy memories - and sleepless nights I'm sure.

I know that words are not enough right now, but you should know that you did absolutely right by Lucy every step of the way and have always made the right decision for her every time.

So sorry to hear what happened. You looked after her so well - she was your one in a million pony but equally I think you were her one in a million friend x
