Such sad news Laura but you were a complete superstar to Lucy, if every horse and pony had a tenth of the love you gave Lucy the world would be a better place. No one could have done more. You are an inspiring and truly caring person Laura, I really admire you.

Rest in Peace lovely Lucy.
 
I always read your posts and I am so so sorry to hear your news. You looked after her unbelievably well and she was such a lucky pony to have found you. x

Every horse is special to their owners, and some like Lucy have a way about them to attract complete strangers. She was special, to us all. RIP little Lucy.
Hope your smiling Laura, you should be proud.

So sorry for your loss Laura. You gave Lucy the two best gifts we can give our animal friends. A happy life and to pass away with dignity and as pain free as possible. R.I.P Lucy xx
 
So sorry Laura. Am so glad you allowed her to go peacefully before she suffered. Such a selfless decision to make. You should be so proud of yourself for showing such perserverance, patience, dedication and love to your special pony. She obviously couldn't have wished for anything while in your care and that showed right until the end.

Massive hugs for you sweetie, I can't imagine what you are going through right now, but I hope in time you can really remember the amazing experiences you went through with her.

I'm sorry i have missed this until now, i've not been around here as much as usual. I'm so sorry to hear that she is gone, i can't imagine how hard it must be for you. But i'm sure you are being so brave and strong, like you always are, like you have been for Lucy for all this time. You should be so proud of yourself and what you have done, what you have acheived. You made the right and selfless decision for Lucy every single time, right up until the end, and i'm sure she is up in the sky smiling down on you with as much unyeilding love as you showed her over the years. Sleep tight Lucy, and stay strong Laura, we are all thinking of you xx

I have just come back from holiday and so have missed your very sad post and only just twigged when I read your tough day post. I am so sorry, you were so brave and so wonderfully supportive of little Lucy and your love was just so obvious. I always followed your posts and I think many of us will feel that our horsey world will shine just a little duller without your stories. RIP Lucy - run free and happy and pain free in the knowledge that you were very loved xxxx and hugs to you Laura, I hope the pain eases soon
 
Thankyou GreyBay. I hope she is now filling the heavens with mischief like only she can and thankyou for following her story it is lovely to think so many people cared about her. Even those who never met her. She was one special pony.
