you know what ill just get advice off websites and actual ppl who will actually help me called friends and kind ppl !!! and im not guna give out my fb details if ya guna lecture me coz ill block ya !!!

Definitely the ignorant teen:rolleyes:....

So you want us to go check out your Facebook, yet when people ask to have a look you don't want them too? Jeez make up your mind honey!

Now isn't it past your bed time?;)

I dont believe I was rude and I am trying to help.

Being inexperianced isnt a crime, You come across as inexperianced by the questions you ask & you said it was your first young horse but sorry if I was wrong.

Pm me for any advice if you dont want to post on here I would be really willing to help.

I'm sure you want to do the best for your new horse dont be afraid to accept help. You may not like some of the answers but try and read them objectively. Some people have been rude. I think they are genuinly worried about you and your horse but maybe havent gone the right way about it.

Stephie, not everyone has been harsh on you.

I took you at face value and gave you some sound advice. I am a qualified instructor and, FWIW, a kind person.

However, you have completely ignored anyone who has been kind enough to try to help. You are ACTING inexperienced and naive, which is why people are saying that this is how you come across.

If the poor pony really is in all day, as a yearling, I feel very sorry for it and hope that you get it sorted soon.

Keeping a yearling entire, and stabled 24/7 is not something an experienced person would normally do.

You have to accept that if you want to be around horses, there is always something new to learn.

Sadly, from your posts, I think you need to grow up a little

I would get the vet out to assess him for gelding, vaccinations, etc.
And then get him gelded/vaccinated, etc.
And wormed.
And a dentist to check his teeth.
And a farrier to assess his hooves.

And then turn the poor thing out in a field with other equine company of his own age for at least eight hours a day! Move yards if you have to, but get him turn out. That is your next priority, after vet.

Also, does he have a passport/microchip? Does he have a name? And I don't have Facebook, so stick a picture up here if you want any opinions/advice from me regarding his conformation...

That was my serious answer. If this is a wind-up, then may I recommend that you have him exorcised, as he is clearly a zombie horse!

I agree. If you are going to wait for his nuts to drop the best thing you could do is to put him on youngstock livery so he can live out with other colts. Will do him the world of good.

Patterdale - completly agree, I tried to offer my , obviously useless advice, and seemed to get shot down.

I am not sure this is a winde up, I hope to god it is not, if you come and ask for advice ignore the ( yes at times funny) and listen with BOTH ears!!!

You are on a hard way to now where doing as you are OP!!!

Find another yard, turn him out and get him gelded, most of your problems are caused by those three things.

And ps saying spent ages with horses to now saying spent years.... Appears odd :(

That's funny, as whoever hacked your account has exactly the same tendencies towards overuse of punctuation, poor grammar and spelling and thinking 'guna' is actually a word. It isn't.

such a shame that someone hacked your account, and such a coincidence that whoever hacked it has the same awful grammar and excessive use of exclamation marks as you:rolleyes: TBH OP, I couldn't give a damn, but this has been mildly entertaining.

Lol, been watching this one tonight after having picked up the other one about wanting a pony for little sister.

Loving the similarities in the writing of the hacker and OP ;)

Thanks for the entertainment :):):)

I don't believe I posted anything but helpful advice.

There you go you can but try - if they don't take it , who am I to continue to offer.

Funny thing is I think I can hear the school bell ringing !!!

And this is to be honest`how problem horses are created through someone who thinks they know it all taking on a youngster and wont accept constructive criticism, that colt is a disaster waiting to happen

. Not all colts bite I have known some that don't.

I agree.

The colt in this video didn't bite. His handling had always been consistent and fair, but boundaries had been set from day one. I had done a fair amount of work on getting him to understand the basics of walk, stop, back up and stand. He just didn't feel the need to use his teeth :)

Was thinking the same...

If I was your colt, you'd have been more than bitten.

Not all colts bite, we have a 3yo who would never dream of it, he'll chomp through grooming brushes and nibble on feed bowls but has never gone for one of us... he has also always been on 24/7 turnout and treated like a horse.

Perhaps you should go to a riding school rather than looking at 11month old colts and babies for younger siblings *brick wall*

My IDx colt was a saint until he hit about 9 months, over night become this evil little........ He would bite (really bike!) and rear and strike out. After 2 weeks of "dodging" him I decided to cut my losses and get him cut. Have to say, I understand it is never the same for all of them, but literally over night my little saint returned. Never looked back! Hope you get it sorted, there is nothing worse!!
