Walking the mutts today and my boy was set on by two large labradors. They had him on his back and were at his throat. He was squealing horribly!!
Fortunately myself and my OH were able to kick (sorry, no other way to do it) the dogs off him.
Quigley stood up and seemed quite distressed (he is a bit of a whinger at the best of times), but otherwise unharmed. Being a samoyed he has a huge ruff - I dread to think of the damage if he hadn't.
The dogs owner stood by and did NOTHING, didn't call her dogs, didn't appologise, didn't check to see if Quig was okay. We asked for her details - didn't really know what else to do. Thought at that stage that it could be a vet job. She just walked away. We did get her numberplate.
Can we report this, to whom, etc. I'm still peed off! I'm not sure what it would achieve even, but I'm annoyed.
My dog is fast asleep and seems a bit sore, but otherwise physically unharmed.
