I am so sorry for you. Have been following your posts and feeling your pain and frustration, willing the vet to give you a good prognosis. At least you had the courage and conviction to find out what was wrong rather than try make it someones else problem. Sol is a very lucky lucky horse to have found you and you have done your very best by her.
Really sorry to read this post as was hoping you'd get to the bottom of her problems and it would be a positive diagnosis.
*hugs* and thinking about you at such a horrid time.
So so sorry sweetheart. It just isnt fair she is a lovely young horse and you don't deserve this.
I know how you feel been there twice.
Wish I could take your pain away.
(((hugs)))x
QR - Thank-you everyone , sorry I haven't replied to pm's/hugs/messages of support etc , Its just all coming out as illegible mush at the moment !
I am picking her up at Midday tomorrow and plan on chatting to the vet for a long time to asses whether she has a chance.
Either way she is now with me till the end .
I'm really sorry to hear this. I don't post much, but have been following your story. I know the diagnosis seems horrendous right now, and vets always give a very pessimistic prognosis, but many cases of Navicular can be managed, as previously mentioned. Your mare is so lucky to have an owner who is willing to follow her gut instinct and have full investigations to get to the root of her problems. Hugs to both you and Sol.
Awwwww crap, i had been following and hoping for a much better outcome than this.
At least Sol is with you, someone who will care for her and love her regardless.
Sorry you didn't get brighter news
