Yesterday was the first day of officialy working at my riding school! I managed to not get kicked, and found it ok. I am slightly dissapointed as I had to do about 30 odd hay nets which took forever. However I did some leading of the horses, water some, and helped out in a lesson. However I am slightly dissapointed. I am not allowed to tack/untack, groom, go in a stable, and some others, So it wasnt as good as I hoped. Ive been told we have to do a payed test, Starting at Grade A and working upwards. I am ringing tomorrow, to let them know ill be in next sunday and will be riding, I also want to find out when grade a starts.
I was observing the lesson and keeping an eye on everyone, All day I had been fussing this one horse, Brody. She was tied to the other side of the fence than the other horses because of her bad temperement, during the lesson she kept coming over to me instead of doing what the teacher was saying
That made me feel loved
. Twas a grate day but I was restricted to what I was allowed to do.
