Just a quick how much if I may?

15.2, 9 year old TB gelding. Jumping clear open courses, HT & ODE. Consistently placed. Currently competing Novice level dressage and wins nearly all of his novices, has very flashy, consistent paces. Safe to hack alone or in company, snaffle mouth. No vices or lameness. Good to load, clip etc.

........??

Lol thanks I did post in there but didn't get any replies so posted in here....went back and I'd had some replies to my one in there doh :D

TBs vary so much in price. Some are worth nothing, others that go really well can command high prices. I have a friend that is asking £7k for hers - about same level, but its been for sale over 6 months and I wouldn't give her more than 3k for it, but TBs just arent' my thing! Too costly to feed and keep warm!

Gererally for over 6k I would want pretty good results/placings at lower affiliated levels and good conformation and health records. For £5k I would still want a very nice horse - do you feel that it is really worth that? For £5k you could have a look around and get quite a lot... Have a look at ads and see what compares?

I would personally say he's worth 5k from riding him the past couple of months.

I have fallen in love with him though, he's just perfect for me so would pay the world for him:D

He is doing extremely well unaffiliated. Always placed. I want him for dressage but eventing wise owner reckons he'd easily do PN.

As my daughter is currently pestering me to beg, steal or borrow the money to buy her a gorgeous looking 15.2hh mare for £9.5K, £5k doesn't sound so unreasonable! I just think it's really hard to judge in the present climate,
